Comment/Annotation Tool		 Web-centric collaboration tool for providing comments on documents (e.g. specifications, presentations, budget documents, handbooks). Key features include:
  • Comment addition with attachments
  • Comment browsing
  • Comment Serverity Level (Editorial, Essenial, Suggested)
  • Comment Type (General, Specific)
  • Comment status reporting
  • Comment Disposition
  • Submitter Information


E-mail exploder lists		 E-Mail exploder lists provide a single e-mail address that contains a list of e-mail addresses for all members of an IPT or virtual enterprise. Key features include:
  • Information distribution to all members of the group
  • Information distributio to one or more selected members of the group


Threaded Text Conferencing		 Web-centric electronic message board for sharing information organized by topic (or thread). Text Conference may be used for discussing issues, sharing meeting agendas, minutes, and action items, providing technical support by topic area (problem - solutions), or sharing information by topic. Key features include:
  • View messages with attached files by topic or thread
  • Single page or frames View (thread frame, message frame)
  • Add a message with an attached file
  • Edit your own message(s)
  • Reply to a message;
  • Search for messages by keyword or author, and
  • Filter messages by date


Voting Tool		 Web-centric voting tool allows users to vote on topics or issues and display voting results. Key features include:
  • Yes/No/Abstain questions
  • Rank-Order questions;

User Contact Information Update Capability

 Utilizing Microsoft's Active Directory, users can update their own point of contact information. This capability benefits both the end-users and site administrators by eliminating the administrative lead time incurred with user updates. Key features include:
  • Simple, easy to use interface
  • Immediate update of information
  • Single source of user information
  • For users on mailing lists, automatic mailing list updates


New Services in Development


Blog & Personal Task List		 A weblog or “blog” is a personal journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Typically a user will input a new entry each day in an informal style. An embedded personal task list is included, making for an easy way to organize your plans and tasks. Key features include:
  • Blog searching, blog entry addition, and entry archiving
  • Optional addition of an attachment to tasks or blog entries
  • Add, edit, delete, and search tasks
  • Show and sort all, open, or closed tasks
  • Personalized color scheme using CSS
  • Application uses ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS


myWebDex 		myWebDex is a web-based contact information database, with a rolodex type interface. Much like a rolodex which would sit on your desk, the myWebDex application behaves in the same manor, but incorporates the capabilities of a webpage, user defined Style sheets (CSS), and custom layout settings. Key Features Include :
  • Stand Alone, or Integrated Implementations
  • User Defined Color Schemes and Settings
  • Search Contacts Quickly
  • Send Contacts Email

Site Content Personalization using COTS Tools		 A digital dashboard provides a consolidated view of information from multiple sources in a single web browser screen. Key features include:

Web-based Workflow		 Workflow is the automation of a business process during which information is passed from one user to another for action, according to a set of procedural rules. Key features include:
  • Automation of routine paper and electronic based processes
  • Can build in checks to keep the process flowing


ISO TC184/SC4 Site		 The International Standards Organization (ISO) Technical Committee 184/Subcommittee 4 (TC184/SC4) website will be hosted by the DCN/ICN. We will support the website with our current services, and new services specific to the needs of SC4 are under development. Key features include:
  • Enhanced user interface and site navigation
  • Tailored site content
  • Automatic content update
  • Integrated remote administration features
