OBJECT AND SCOPE
It should be emphasized that the Agreement constituted by the
sample clauses only governs
the EDI relations between the parties and that it is not
intended to govern the substance of
transactions which will effectively be carried out using
Electronic Data Interchange. The issues
of validation and formation of the underlying agreement are
covered by the sample clauses on
validity and formation of the contract. Conflicts or
inconsistencies between the agreements
involved should be prevented.
