Content of a Through Life Information Management Plan

Purpose:

Based on the Through Life Information Managment Strategy, the TLIM Plan presents the approach for acquiring, distributing, using, updating and archiving all of the information needed to conduct programme lifecycle activities.

Content:

What do we have (background info):

  • Program Strategy CALS (see Annex E)
  • Description of the Program Business Environment and Options, incl.:
  • plans (incl. overall project plan with milestones / schedule)
  • roles through life
  • programme participants and location
  • IT Environment Assessment, incl.:
  • identify relevant legacy systems
  • identify relevant legacy data sources (specifically applicable to buying existing DS)
  • IT policies and plans
