Deliverables:

An overview of Standards/Models for the information domain covering LCI.
NATO STANAG for Product Data covering the NPDM and the NPDM Implementation Guidelines.
NATO preferred data Standards/Models with NATO interpretation for the remaining information domains for LCI.

Resources required:

2.2.1: 15 man days from NCO + Dialogue with and participation from NATO bodies, Nations and Industry.
2.2.2: 100 man days from NCO + 6,5 mill BEF (Contract).
2.2.3: 60 man days from NCO + participation from NATO bodies, Nations and Industries.

Success Measures:

Get the overview of Standards and models harmonised with NSA, NDAG, SHAPE and NAMSA.
Publish the NATO STANAG on Product Data by August 2001. (Completed)
In co-operation with NSA, NDAG, SHAPE and NAMSA agree on an approach to handle the remaining data standards/models for NATO.

Status Report:

Development of the Implementation Guidelines is completed. NCO has conducted a final quality check, and the HTML version is available on the web-page, and on CD which will be distributed at the next NCMB meeting.
A final version of the cover STANAG 4595 on Product Data has been developed and distributed to the NCMB for final approval (NCMB(NCO)-(01) 52). It will be then forwarded to NSA to distribute for ratification as soon as Annexes ALP-14 and ALP-15 are printed.
Co-operation between NCO and the NATO DATA Administration Group is established. An agreement between the NC3 Organisation and the NCMB covering the alignment between the NPDM and the NATO corporate Data Model has been finalised (NCMB(NCO)-(01) 58) and will be presented at the 30th NCMB for approval.
