APPLICABILITY OF USING XML FOR EDI VIA THE INTERNET -- A WHITE PAPER	DESCRIPTION: This paper attempts to answer: What is XML and how does it work? What is the applicability of utilizing XML for EDI? What are the critical success factors for XML/EDI?
EDIFACT U.S. INDUSTRY ANALYSIS	DESCRIPTION: Various key U.S. industries and industry associations were surveyed to gather their thoughts on where U.S. industries were heading in regards to the UN/EDIFACT standard - this presentation provides the results the survey.
EDI (X12 TO UN/EDIFACT) MAPPING CONCEPT PAPER	DESCRIPTION: This paper discusses compatibility issues between ANSI X12 and UN/EDIFACT. This report proposes a methodology, based on the Universal Data Element Framework (UDEF) and ISO 11179 (naming conventions), to explore semantic inequalities between the two EDI standards. An automated software tool (Conveyor) was created to demonstrate how disparities between the two standards could be identified and mapped.
